The Origin of the Name
"Pilimpikou" means butterfly in French. The word comes from a village of about 6,750 inhabitants in Burkina Faso, where Monique, the founder, grew up surrounded by artisan families.
For the founder, Pilimpikou evokes authenticity, handmade craftsmanship, and simplicity.

Nice to meet you! I’m Monique, the owner of the Pilimpikou boutique.
The idea for Pilimpikou Inc. was born from my passion for handcrafted products and my desire to support women artisans. Growing up in a family of merchants, I always dreamed of starting my own business. During my maternity leave, while searching for natural and authentic products for my family, I discovered a world full of talent, where every creation tells a story. This is how the idea of Pilimpikou Inc. took root: to create a platform dedicated to those seeking products made with love, by skilled hands, to enrich their daily lives.
